Finance Support Officer

Breakaway Toowoomba Incorporated is a respite family support agency that has been providing a service to people with a disability and their families in Toowoomba and nearby outlying towns, for close to 20 years. Respite services are facilitated in a range of ways including In-home and/or Community Access, Rural and Remote respite, Vacation Care, and through the organisation's two Guesthouses.

Breakaway requires the contribution of positive and competent people in co-ordination and management roles in order for it to respond to the challenges of present and future demands in providing a quality and accountable service. The organisation wants to ensure that its service delivery focus is on providing support that is relevant, responsive, of a high quality/standard and tailor made to suit each individual family.

If you have excellent financial and administrative skills, and are passionate about helping to make a difference in the community, Breakaway has a fantastic part time opportunity for a Finance Support Officer to join their dedicated Toowoomba team.

The primary focus of this pivotal and hands-on role will be to oversee a range of financial, accounting and clerical services within Breakaway, also liaising with clients when required.

Disability Support Workers

Casual positions available

Experienced people are sought to provide quality support to clients at our residential respite centres at Highfields, Glenvale and through our In-Home and Community Access programs.

Experience in providing quality direct care to adults and children with a disability is essential. Males are encouraged to apply.

Must be flexible, some evening, overnight and weekend work required. Current Blue Card, First Aid and Criminal History check required (or willingness to acquire immediately).
